During the summer months in Bjelovar and its surroundings, you can find refreshment in the swimming pools. One is located in the town of Bjelovar, and the other in Šandrovac, east of the town. Both swimming pools are located outdoors, recently renovated, and are open from June to September.

Bjelovar’s city swimming pool is a newly designed pool with sunbeds, large bleachers and rich sports content that includes both private and group training as well as various swimming and water polo competitions. Sports activities there include swimming, water polo, non-swimmer training for children and adults, yoga, beach volleyball, basketball, outdoor gym and bocce court. For those looking for refreshment, there is also a pool bar where you can relax.

The Gradina swimming pool in Šandrovac contains an Olympic pool surrounded by other sports fields such as a mini golf range, a beach volleyball court, a tennis court, a basketball court and a field for indoor soccer. The pool was recently renovated, and like the city pool, it offers a swimming school and various other amenities. In the pool area, next to the sunbathing area, there is also a restaurant where you can find refreshments.
