The festival stands out for the fact that you can hear great combinations of different genres, from classical music to folkloric elements to rock, all with a hint of jazz. Jazzica takes place in the very centre of the city, in Boho Park, and in case of rain, the performances are moved to the Community Centre. It is also a great thing that the entrance to all concerts during the festival is free for all visitors.
Jazzica
Since 2018, at the end of June and beginning of July, the people of Bjelovar and everyone who happens to be in Bjelovar can enjoy the Jazzica music festival. It is an event dedicated to jazz music, which, since it takes place in the summer months, is performed under the stars. So far, many famous names of jazz music such as Matija Dedić, Zvjezdan Ružić, Vesna Pisarović, Elena Stella, Tamara Obrovac and many others have performed at the festival.
