City market

Bjelovar’s city market is the living heart of the city, a place of gathering, exchange and fellowship. The market is quite modernized and has its own website where you can find everything offered there in one place, from flowers and seedlings to eggs and dairy products to honey, vegetables, fruits, grains and preparations made by the hardworking local population.

The market also has a large covered area, so you will always find something there even on rainy and gloomy days. It is extremely popular, so customers come to it even from Zagreb and other cities outside the Bjelovar-Bilogora County; and how they could not, when the people of Bjelovar have a long-standing fair tradition dating back to the time of Maria Theresa and are extremely skillful. The city market is open every weekday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
